Special Training Course on
"WIND ENERGY TECHNOLOGY"
for the officials of Nordex Global Shared Services Pvt. Ltd.

The Skill Development and Training Division of NIWE successfully conducted a two-day special training course on "Wind Energy Technology" for the officials of M/s. Nordex Global Shared Services Pvt. Ltd., held on May 7th and 8th, 2026.
The training course provided a comprehensive overview of wind energy, beginning with an introduction to wind technology and moving through resource assessment, wind farm design, installation, and commissioning. It also addressed the operation and maintenance of wind farms, alongside the testing and certification of wind turbines, in a highly focused manner.
By offering a solid foundation in the engineering principles behind wind technology and power generation, the course equipped participants with the technical know-how necessary to develop financially viable wind farm projects. Furthermore, it served as an invaluable platform for open dialogue and the exchange of experiences regarding emerging wind power technologies.
The course was formally inaugurated by Dr. P. Kanagavel, Director and Head of the SDT Division, NIWE. Forty officials attended the course, forming a diverse group of 24 male and 16 female participants.
