Customized Online Training Course on

"WIND ENERGY TECHNOLOGY AND ITS APPLICATIONS"

Specially for the officials of M/s. NTPC Limited

04^th July - 07^th September 2023

The Skill Development and Training (SDT) Division of NIWE has successfully conducted the customized online training course on “Wind Energy Technology and its Applications” specially for the officials of M/s. NTPC Limited held during 04^th July to 07^th September 2023. The training course was attended by 18 participants. The online course was held on Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week for 3 hrs of class per day.

The training course was inaugurated by Dr. P. Kanagavel, Director & Division Head, NIWE and delivered inaugural address. During the address by Dr.Ananda Srinivas Vaka, Deputy General Manager, encouraged the participants to gain knowledge and skills from the training course.

The course addressed all the aspects of wind energy technology with 36 lectures on various topics of wind energy. The course contents of the training were handled by Scientists / Engineers of NIWE who have years of experience in the field.

Glimpse of Training

During the valedictory function, Dr. P. Kanagavel, Director and Head, SDT Division, NIWE provided the course summary and released assessment score of the participants in the presence of Shri S.A. Mathew, Director and Head, C & IT Division, NIWE, Shri. J. C. David Solomon, Director & Head, R&D, NIWE and NTPC officials expressed their appreciation and thanks.

The course structure and organization of training was highly appreciated by the participants. The participants were very much satisfied with the quality of lectures and support from the organizing team throughout the course.
