Customized two days Induction Training Course on
"WIND ENERGY TECHNOLOGY"
specially for newly recruited Scientist B of MNRE
held on 7th & 8th October 2016

The ITCS Unit of NIWE had successfully conducted the two days Induction training course on "WIND ENERGY TECHNOLOGY" specially for the newly recruited scientists B of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) held on 7th & 8th October 2016. 10 scientists had attended the course.

The training course was inaugurated by Director General of NIWE.

There were 6 presentations scheduled during the course, which were handled by 6 NIWE Scientists, Engineers of NIWE.


Scientists visiting renewable facilities at NIWE

The Renewable energy facilities available in the NIWE Campus were showcased to the participants for practical exposure, wherein they had an opportunity of understanding about the Wind and Solar Resource Assessment set up and how the Hybrid System (Wind - Solar - Diesel) works.

Scientists at M/s. Gamesa Large Wind Manufacturing Facility

The participants were taken to visit M/s. Gamesa Large Wind Turbine Manufacturing Facility at Mamandur, Chennai, where they had a chance of seeing all the components of wind turbine and the experts trainers explained the working principle of the components along with the troubleshooting techniques.
