Brief Report
TURBINE TESTING AND WIND FARM MICROSITING
held during 19th - 28th October 2009

C-WET successfully organized a special International Training Course on "Wind Turbine Testing and Wind Farm Micrositing" for Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Engineers during 19th to 28th October 2009. Five Engineers from Egypt representing the AOI attended the program and learned about Testing of Wind Turbines and Wind Resource Assessment in a detailed manner.

The objective of the training programme was to transfer knowledge and to develop special skills needed by the wind energy personnel working in the technical and operational fields and to share the experiences from the lessons learnt over the past two decades. This course has provided invaluable platform for dialogue and open exchange of views and experiences.
