Apart from the main collection, NIWE Library has collection on various subjects, viz., Renewable Energy, Sustainable Energy, Computer and General.
A person seeking information under the RTI Act, 2005 can make payment of fee of Rs 10 /- for obtaining information by demand draft or banker's cheque or Indian postal order in favour of the “National Institute of Wind Energy” payable at Chennai.
